Holy Cow! What a Bag!
As a yoga company, it would not be very cool if we started to make bags out of leather. After all, in India the cow is considered a manifestation of the divine with every part of it being sacred. Many of the main Hindu deities are associated with cows, the best known being the Lord Krishna who, as a young man, was a cow herder.
But because we love bags, we wanted to offer the quality and style of leather. So we searched high and low to find the best faux leather. We also felt this allowed us to make a statement regarding non-violence (ahimsa) which is key to yoga and is the first undertaking required in the Classical Yoga tradition. |
